How much notice do you need if i want to cancel?
This is dependant on the size of your event and can vary between 7 days and several weeks. Please enquire when booking.
Are you able to help us promote our event?
We have a Facebook and Twitter page and we would happily help you promote your event via our social media.
What accommodation is close by?
Shrewsbury has a number of accommodation providers within a short drive to find a list visit Original Shrewsbury
Can I come and look round before hand?
No problem, we are always happy to show you around the centre just call or email to arrange. If you don’t have time to look round then we can always send you some photographs.
What are your opening times?
The centre is open Monday – Friday 8.30am – 5.00pm, this excludes Bank Holidays.
Is there disabled access and parking?
The Conference Centre has disabled access and facilities throughout, including disabled parking spaces.
Is there parking?
We are situated on the grounds of the Shrewsbury Hospital site; however, we have our own dedicated private parking for paying clients with 90 spaces available that includes a disabled parking allocation. On a conference scale, if applicable and viable to our Charity, areas of our car parks could be reserved. Negotiable.
How can the rooms be laid out?
Many of our rooms feature sliding walls and partitions so we can create a space that’s the perfect size and shape for your needs.
Are there catering provisions in the Centre?
Up until July 2025, the Centre will continue to work in partnership with the Hospital’s Catering department who can offer ranges of food and beverage provisions. This service can be provided as part of your room hire as well as an in-house counter-service provision. Organisers of events and meetings can deal direct with hospital catering department for quotes and any dietary requirements.
Note – Post July 2025 and when the Charity is happy to proceed, a new catering provision will become operational. More information will follow over the next few weeks.
What happens if your equipment breaks?
We regularly test our equipment and ensure it is in good working order, however we also have spare equipment that we can use in case of emergencies.
Do you have wi-fi?
We have free Wi-Fi throughout the conference centre.
